Code Blue will be in effect from tonight, Tuesday, January 22nd through Monday, January 27th. Overnight temperatures are forecast below freezing throughout the period. Mayor Lombardi has called for Code Blue to continue through 8 am on Monday morning January 27th, 2025.
Any homeless person or individual without heat can go to the Salvation Army directly between the hours of 8 pm – 10 pm, if after 10 pm, please report to the walk-up window at the Niagara Street entrance of Lockport Police Department where they will assist individuals seeking shelter.
In addition to the Code Blue Notice Mayor Lombardi would also like to announce that City Hall, 1 Locks Plaza will be available as a warming station beginning today, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm until further notice.
