Consumer Credit Counseling Service and Northwest Bank are partnering with the City of Lockport to hold a free workshop for city and county residents designed to help them with their financial knowledge.
The workshop, Understanding Credit Scores & Reports, is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30. The presentation will be led by Trina Burruss of Northwest Bank and held at the Lockport Municipal Building at One Locks Plaza.
This educational workshop will walk participants through what a credit score is, why it’s important and how to correctly read a credit report. The event will also offer tips on ways to maintain a healthy credit score and how to work on repairing bad credit.
