Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) has announced that it is offering free “financial checkups” to Western New Yorkers who have been most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
With many hourly workers and employees in the hospitality industry experiencing a drop or even complete loss of income, CCCS is offering this service to help. During a phone appointment with a CCCS counselor, individuals can discuss their\ financial concerns and learn about community resources and relief options that may be available to assist with their mortgage, student loan, auto loan and credit card payments. The counselor can also help review household’s income and expenses, and aid in developing an emergency budget.
