City of Lockport Announces Large Item Pickup Schedule and Additional Disposal Options
LOCKPORT, January 30, 2024– The City of Lockport is pleased to remind residents of the upcoming large item pickup scheduled for the first full week of the month. During this designated week, each resident is entitled to dispose of one large item free of charge. Residents requiring additional disposal options can purchase tags for both standard-size bags and extra-large items.
Details of the Large Item Pickup Program:
- Date: The large item pickup is scheduled for the first full week of every month; next one is February 5 -9, 2024.
- Entitlement: Each resident is allowed to place up to two large items at the curbside for pickup during the designated week.
- Additional Tags: Residents who need to dispose of more than *one* large items or additional standard-size bags can purchase up to two additional tags for a nominal fee.
- Standard Size Bags: $2 per bag
- Large Items Tags: $10 each
- Purchase Location: Tags for additional disposal can be purchased at the City Clerk’s Office.
