Code Blue will be in effect from tonight, Tuesday February 18th until Monday February 24th. Overnight temperatures are forecast below freezing throughout the period. Mayor Lombardi has called for Code Blue to continue through 8 am on Monday morning, February 24th.
Any homeless person or individual without heat can go to the Salvation Army directly between the hours of 8 pm – 10 pm, if after 10 pm, please report to the walk-up window at the Niagara Street entrance of Lockport Police Department where they will assist individuals seeking shelter.
Mayor Lombardi would also like to remind residents that City Hall, 1 Locks Plaza, Lockport, NY will be available as a warming station from 4:00pm – 8:00pm until further notice.
