The City of Lockport’s Highways and Parks crews will begin fall leaf pickup on Monday, Nov. 2.
Residents are urged to get as many of their leaves raked into the street as they can as soon as possible.
Crews will begin on upper Pine Street on Monday, and will move in a counterclockwise rotation. Weather permitting, crews will make at least three complete sweeps through the city.
Residents are asked to place the leaves 6 to 8 inches off the curb to assist crews in the pickup. When leaves are left on the curb, some can be left behind in the cleanup process.
