Lockport, NY to Host Spectacular Independence Day Parade and Celebration
July 3, 2023 – Lockport residents and visitors are invited to join in the festivities as we celebrate our nation’s independence with an unforgettable Independence Day Parade on July 3rd. This annual event promises an evening of patriotic pride, and community unity beginning at 6 PM. We are excited to announce that the parade will commence from Veterans Memorial Park and travel along a the route to One Locks Plaza.
The Lockport Independence Day Parade has become a cherished tradition, embodying the spirit of freedom and the appreciation of our nation’s history. This year, we are delighted to present an extraordinary parade featuring an array of participants including former “The Voice” contestant Josh Vacanti, who will be participating and singing from the Salt & Light Festival’s Float and the Lockport Community Band will be performing. Additional members of the parade will include Lockport Little Loop; Niagara Clown Alley; Lockport Police Department, Lockport Fire Department, the Niagara County Sherriff’s Office and there will be members of Local Volunteer Fire Departments.
The parade will kick off at 6 PM sharp from Veterans Memorial Park, where participants and spectators will be treated to a spectacular display of red, white, and blue. Whether you are a long-time resident of Lockport or a visitor joining us for the occasion, the Independence Day Parade is an event not to be missed. Mark your calendars for July 3, 6 PM.
