The City of Lockport will host a Foreclosure Prevention Resources Awareness Workshop from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, in the Common Council chambers.
The workshop is the second workshop that the city is undertaking as part of its effort to clear urban blight and prevent “zombie” homes, or poorly maintained vacant bank-owned properties that are the result of bank foreclosures. The initiative was made available through a grant received from the New York State Attorney General’s office.
