The City of Lockport has added one more round of yard waste pickup during October. City crews will pick up yard waste, on residents’ regular garbage day, the week of Monday, October 17 through Friday, October 21. The additional week was requested by residents, many of whom had not yet finished cleaning out their flower and vegetable gardens in September.
City crews will begin picking up leaves in November. Residents are reminded that ONLY leaves should be raked into the street alongside the curb.
