Road work is scheduled to begin next week on Old Niagara Road in the City of Lockport, which will impact traffic for several weeks.
Beginning Monday, June 29, 2020, the bridge on Old Niagara Road just west of the intersection with North Transit Road will close for repair and resurfacing work. During this period, the bridge will be closed to traffic in both directions. Detours will be in place to direct drivers around the closed section of road.
Work is expected to last approximately three weeks, though is dependent on weather conditions. If the work needs to be extended, updates will be posted to the City of Lockport website and social media.
