At 6:30pm on Wednesday, May 11th, the Common Council will conduct public hearings on two Local Laws—one to amend Chapter 125 of the City Code regarding Noise (Local Law #2 of 2022), and one to amend Chapter A-192, Section 40-a of the City Code regarding Master Plumber (Local Law #3 of 2022).
The new Noise Ordinance is a draft version, subject to change, and it would replace Chapter 125 of the City Code in its entirety. The current version of Chapter 125 is included for reference.
Chapter A-192, Section 40-a (‘Master plumber’) of the current City Code would be amended by the elimination of six words. No other changes would be made to Chapter A-192.
