The City of Lockport has declared a State of Emergency due to the severe weather conditions that are impacting travel and safety. This State of Emergency is to allow for the City to respond effectively to Winter Storm that threatens the public safety of the citizens of the City of Lockport, New York. This State of Emergency will remain in effect from 1pm 12/23/22 until further notice, as severe weather conditions persist.
As if 1pm the City is moving from a Travel Advisory to a Travel Ban until further notice within City Limits. All unnecessary travel should be avoided. Emergency responders are exempt.
