Wide Waters Marina & Public Water Facilities

For fun on – and in – the water, Lockport offers access to the Erie Canal, including the Wide Waters Marina. The city also operates a public pool during the summer months.

Wide Waters Marina

The Wide Waters Marina offers many amenities for families and guests of all ages. Several restaurants and venues are located nearby, and rental boats and kayaks are available at the marina. Boaters can also take advantage of the public docks and a refueling station.

Location:
Going West (Tonawanda Creek/Pendleton) approximately 2 hour trip

Going East (Medina/Gasport/Middleport) approximately 30 minutes trip per location.

Hours:
The Marina is open from the beginning of April to the end of October:

Monday thru Friday: 7am to 8pm
Saturday & Sunday: 7am to 7pm

  • Pavilion (reservations made at the City of Lockport Clerk’s Office, One Locks Plaza, Lockport NY 14094) – Closed for the season
  • Bathrooms/Showers and 30 AMP electricity access – Closed for the season
  • Laundry Service/quarters only, bring your own – Closed for the season
  • Boat launch – Closed for the season
  • Floating Docks – (with water and electric hookup)- Closed for the season
  • Fuel station – (Market Value/87 Octane, ethanol free) – Closed for the season
  • Canal walking path – Closed for the season
  • Rivi-Erie sand beach – Closed for the season

  • Electric and Water: $30 per foot

Daily/Transient Boat Slips

  • $2.00 per foot

Boat Launch/Trailer Parking

  • $5 per day | No charge for canoes and kayaks
