A significant winter storm is affecting Lockport and is expected to continue through tomorrow at 7pm. Heavy snow, strong winds, freezing temperatures, blowing/drifting snow, and near-zero visibility are expected. Travel conditions will continue to deteriorate throughout the night and become more hazardous. The City of Lockport urges everyone to prepare and avoid travel unless absolutely necessary.
