Lockport Firefighters

The members of the Lockport Fire Department serve as the primary first responders for fire protection and paramedic service within city limits. Lockport’s firefighters strive to protect life and property by providing a timely response in emergency situations. These may include structure fires, dangerous weather conditions, medical traumas or hazardous materials. The Lockport Fire Department also aims to educate its citizens on fire and emergency situation prevention.

Please be informed that due to the predicted high wind weather event forecasted for Sunday – Monday (2/24-2/25). If traffic signals are not working, treat them as if they are a four way stop. If you are experiencing issues, like downed trees and/or power lines, due to the wind storm, please contact our police Nonemergency Line 716.433.7700 (manned 24/7) and they will contact the appropriate department to handle the issue. If you are experiencing an emergency dial 911.
