The Wastewater Treatment Department operates the city’s wastewater treatment plant and compost facility, located on West Jackson Street in the northwest portion of the city.
For emergency issues outside of normal office hours, call the Lockport Police Department at 716.433.7700.
Compost and Mulch Available
The compost facility also offers compost and chipper mulch to the public. These items are ideal for landscaping and fertilizing, and available for a nominal fee at the facility.
Note: These materials are not to be used on food crops.
