The Lockport Locks Heritage District is celebrating the Erie Canal Bicentennial by producing a documentary on the Erie Canal Flight of Five Locks and the rebirth of Lockport around the largest remaining section from the historic Erie Canal.
For the month of July, the Lockport Locks Heritage District is launching a social media campaign to promote awareness of the documentary and to raise money so they can tell the story of the engineering feat that enabled completion of Clinton’s Ditch.
