Welcome to Lockport

The City of Lockport, NY grew from the banks of the 19th century engineering marvel, the Erie Canal. Today, Lockport is a friendly community with rich, historic roots. We seek to blend the old with the new to preserve the past as well as move ahead with the changing times.

Lockport, New York is located in the center of Niagara County approximately 18 miles east of Niagara Falls USA. Our website not only offers the important government and service information that business owners and residents seek, but we have also created a tourism section for visitors and locals alike. Explore Lockport attractions, Erie Canal activities, specialty shops, the Lockport Locks & Erie Canal Cruises, the Lockport Cave & Underground Boat Ride and so much more when you visit Lockport and take a walk through history.
