Lockport City Hall Update
COVID guidelines remain in place, even as New York State eases restrictions, and vaccines become available to a greater number of residents. Everyone is encouraged to continue to wear masks, socially distance, and wash hands frequently.
City Hall continues to have limited access, but remains open to the public by appointment. Most city business can be transacted through the mail or by using the night depository on the Main street side of the building. You can use it to drop off correspondence, payments, applications, or other business with the office of the City Clerk and City Treasurer. If you have business that requires an in-person transaction, please contact the appropriate city office. The Treasurer’s office can be reached at 439-6744. The City Clerk’s office at 439-6676. City Court is 280-6205. To gain entrance to City Hall, you must use the Niagara Street entrance by the police station. Court officers will ask that you have your temperature scanned once you have entered the building.
If you need assistance and cannot physically access the building, please contact the Mayor’s office at 439-6665, the City Clerk’s office at 439-6676, or the police non-emergency line, 433-7700. All calls will be answered by staff from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
