The City of Lockport, NY grew from the banks of the 19th century engineering marvel, the Erie Canal. Today, Lockport is a friendly community with rich, historic roots. We seek to blend the old with the new to preserve the past as well as move ahead with the changing times.

Lockport, New York is located in the center of Niagara County approximately 18 miles east of Niagara Falls USA. There will be a Code Red in effect on Friday July 19th and Saturday July 20th. Cooling stations will be available on Friday and Saturday at the following locations:

-Salvation Army -8:30AM -3PM
-Municipal Building -8AM-8PM
-Lockport Public Library -9AM-5PM (Friday)

The Community Pool will have open swim hours as follows:
Friday -noon- 4:45PM
Saturday - noon- 6PM
